Burma: Chindit Support Weapons

This is my entry for last weeks Lead Painters league. One of the great things about LPL is that it makes you paint stuff you have had hanging around for ages. These support weapons will be very useful for my Chindit army. They are a 3 inch mortar and a Vicker's HMG. Not easy to lug around the jungle, but very useful in battle.

These miniatures are form The Assault Group.

Nice job mate, they look really good. Do you find it a relief to get stuff out the way? It has been for me when i've done some quite old figures recently.

The usual excellent work Rob. Chnidits 'army' shot sometime soon?

Yeah, it's great to get stuff done. The Lead painters league is ten rounds long, and requires I paint at least 60 models in 10 weeks, so it's quite an endurance test, but it does mean I get a big chunk of the lead mountain done, as well as push forward on a few of the projects I have had hanging around but not been able to finish. Mostly I use stuff from the lead mountain, but inevitable I end up buying a few new figures. This week I am working on a few more chav zombie slayers for my East End Apocalypse.
